How Leland's 3-Person Team Generated 500K Impressions in 30 Days, Managing 60 Social Accounts

Most companies need an army to manage this many channels. Here's how Leland built a content distribution system that posts 2,000 times per month without burning out their team.


The Introduction:


Leland helps people accelerate their careers by connecting them with mentors who have already done what they aspire to do. As the platform has grown, so has its content strategy. Leland operates more than 60 social accounts across different career categories, each designed to reach a specific audience with relevant guidance and insights.


That scale created a unique challenge. The ambition was there, the content was strong, but the systems behind distribution were not built to support growth at that level.


The Problem:


Leland’s content team was overwhelmed by the operational work required to distribute content across dozens of platforms and accounts. Every piece of content needed to be clipped, resized into multiple formats, captioned for different audiences, subtitled, scheduled, and posted repeatedly across more than 60 channels. What should have been a growth engine became a bottleneck, with a small team spending most of its time inside editing tools and spreadsheets instead of focusing on strategy, storytelling, and community engagement. Scaling manually would have required hiring five to ten additional team members or pulling back on distribution, neither of which was a viable option.


The Strategy:


Leland partnered with Overlap to turn content distribution into an automated system that could scale without increasing headcount. Together, they built more than 20 custom workflows that handled the repetitive work end to end. Long-form videos were automatically analyzed to identify strong moments, clipped, resized for each platform, captioned in the appropriate brand voice, and scheduled for posting across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.


By centralizing distribution through Overlap, Leland was able to manage all 60 plus social accounts from a single system. Automation handled the execution, while the human team focused on higher value work like creative direction, performance analysis, and community interaction. A three person team suddenly had the output capacity of a much larger organization.


The Results:


Within the first 30 days, Leland generated more than 500,000 organic impressions with zero paid promotion, while publishing an average of 67 posts per day across 60 accounts. Over 2,000 posts were published in a single month, driving thousands of engagements and more than 1,700 new followers organically. One campaign cycle alone delivered over 423,000 impressions, equivalent to thousands of dollars in saved ad spend.


Beyond the metrics, the biggest shift was internal. Manual editing and scheduling were eliminated, burnout dropped, and the team reclaimed time to think strategically. Content distribution went from a constant source of friction to a competitive advantage, proving that with the right automation, a small team can scale reach and impact without scaling workload.
